Front Brake Discs

Service Repair No - 70.10.10

Removal
1. Remove hub assembly.
2. Remove five bolts retaining hub to disc.
3. Tap disc to separate from hub.

Installation
1. Locate disc to hub.
2. Apply Loctite 270, or equivalent, to disc to hub retaining bolts, then tighten to 73 Nm (54 ft. lbs.).
3. Check total disc runout with a dial indicator, this must not exceed 0.15 mm (0.006 inch). If necessary, reposition disc.
4. Install hub assembly.

Disc Reclaimation
^ Check disc thickness. This dimension may be machined to minumum thickness of 22 mm (0.875 in.) - vented discs. Machine equal amounts of of each face.
