Removal

1. Remove close out panel from under glove box (figure 1).

2. Remove both connectors from alarm control unit (figure 2).

3. Remove yellow wire and terminal from C225, cavity # 26 (figure 2).

4. Note location of foam pad between dash and A-pillar trim. Carefully remove right A-pillar trim. Disconnect tweeter harness and set trim aside where it won't be damaged (figure 3).

5. Align glove box stops with cutouts in dashboard panel and lower glove box door for access (figure 4).

Installation

1. Lay antenna from left to right in the space at the junction between the dashboard and the windshield. Using a suitable tool if necessary, push the antenna down until the foam blocks are resting on the lower surface of the windshield/dash. Ensure that the antenna is routed straight and not kinked (figure 5).

2. Follow existing A-pillar wiring and route the connector end of the antenna down between the A-pillar and dash.

3. Install antenna lead into C225, cavity # 26 and reconnect both connectors to alarm ECU.

4. Use supplied cable tie to secure yellow wire and terminal removed and antenna lead to dashboard harness.

NOTE:
Exposed terminal does not need to be insulated.

5. Close glove box and reinstall lower closeout panel.

6. Carefully place A-pillar trim relative to foam and install. Take care not to pinch tweeter wires (figure 6).

7. Test system by walking 10 feet out from the right front door and operating remote.
