Driveability and Running Conditions

Please report if you experience any of these :

Range Rover 4.0/4.6

^ Cold driveability/hesitation may occur with oxygenated fuel or when fuel volatility changes in the spring and fall to meet government requirements. A vehicle may require several days to adapt to the different fuel. Always encourage customers to use a reputable brand of fuel as this will minimize the likelihood of a problem.

^ For sticking exhaust valves (small number of vehicles to date) a rougher than normal idle is accompanied by vacuum fluctuations (normally a steady 14 inches at idle).

^ Check for vacuum leaks (i.e. intake manifold bolts to head are tight).

For the following, please contact the HelpLine with information.

^ Stalls on first start of the day.

^ Stalls on selection of gear or maneuvering in cold ambients in the morning.
