MIL Illumination: Overview

The MIL will illuminate if the GEMS ECM senses a fault condition. Driveability symptoms may not accompany the illumination of the MIL.

To be certain that a vehicle is properly fixed the first time, it is necessary to test drive the vehicle and check for stored faults with TextBook before returning it to the owner.
