DETAIL

A rear wiper fuse rating increase was introduced onto Range Rover at VIN LH 644068 which increased the fuse rating from 10 amps to 15 amps (Maximum). This change was introduced to overcome a concern in markets where very low ambient temperatures could cause the rear wiper blade to freeze to the rear screen. If the rear wiper is operated in this condition, the current draw could overload the fuse and render the system inoperative.

Vehicles identified in the above VIN range can be fitted with the upgraded fuse if this problem occurs in cold climate markets.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint replace the existing 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp (Maximum) fuse.

Locate fuse E3 under the front left hand seat, remove the existing fuse and replace with a 15 amp (Maximum) fuse.

WARNING
Do not use a fuse with a rating higher than 15 amps.
