Warranty - Parts Handling Reimbursement

Bulletin: W96-010

Section: Warranty

Date: 6/14/96

Model: All

Applicable to: USA/Canada

Subject: PARTS HANDLING REIMBURSEMENT

In order to improve your profitability, effective with all warranty claims received July 1, 1996, the $350 maximum parts handling allowance will be removed and LRNA will reimburse a full 30% handling allowance on all parts claimed through the warranty system, regardless of value.

Systems modifications will be transmitted to you which will automatically update your Dealer Communications Systems computer to reflect this change in policy the first time that you turn on, or reboot, your computer on or after July 1.

NOTE:
All claims submitted to LRNA on or after July 1 will be credited a full 30% parts handling allowance, regardless of when the claims were originally created on your DCS computer. If a claim was created before July 1 and not transmitted to LRNA, or a returned claim originally submitted prior to July 1 is retransmitted on or after July 1, your warranty claims register will reflect the $350 maximum handling allowance but the actual credit from LRNA will reflect the full 30% allowance.
