SITUATION:

FRONT ASHTRAY HARD TO OPEN AND CLOSE

It has been found that some customers have been experiencing difficulty in latching and unlatching the front ashtrays in Range Rover vehicles.

RESOLUTION:

REPLACE FRONT ASHTRAY LOCK ARM

In a continuing effort to improve latching and unlatching performance on Range Rover front ashtrays a new lock arm is being introduced. The new design improves the action of the ashtray when opening and closing and may be installed on early vehicles to resolve ashtray latching complaints.
