Plenum Chamber Installation

1. Clean all mating surfaces.

2. Position plenum chamber. Connect coolant hoses to water jacket, tighten clamps.

3. Remove clamp from coolant hoses.

4. Apply a thin, uniform coating of Loctite(R) # 577 sealant to mating surface of plenum chamber.

5. Install plenum chamber.

6. Install plenum chamber bolts. Tighten to 24 Nm. (18 lbf.ft.).

7. Connect multi-plugs to throttle potentiometer and stepper motor.

8. Connect breather hose to plenum chamber.

9. Install throttle cable and cruise control cable onto bracket. Secure cruise control cable with "C" clip.

10. Align cables with throttle linkage. Install clevis pins. Secure clevis pins with cotter pins.

11. Adjust throttle cable if necessary.

12. Connect intake hose and tighten clamp.

13. Fasten heater hose with clip on intake manifold.

14. Secure fuel pressure regulator return pipe with clip.

15. Install fuel feed pipe on fuel rail.

16. Connect crankcase breather hose on valve cover.

17. Connect battery negative terminal.

18. Check engine oil and top up as necessary.

19. Start engine and check for leaks.
