DETAIL
To compliment the new Workshop Manuals an R380 strip and rebuild procedure has been generated in advance of the Workshop Manual release on this subject. This procedure is only applicable to markets where the gearbox is not covered by "black box" policy.
The bulletin should be circulated to all Workshop Technicians.
New Service Repair Operation Times are provided to assist dealers when making warranty claims which cover all necessary repairs, Warranty complaint codes remain unchanged. All necessary Special Tools are identified in SPECIAL TOOLS and in rebuild procedure.
ACTION REQUIRED
This bulletin should be used to compliment existing Workshop Manual material and should be filed in both the Technical Bulletin binder and Workshop Manual.
