Removal
1. Open the rear door and lift up the door seal to expose trim hardware (figure 1).
2. Remove the 2 screws securing the exterior trim finisher to the D post (figure 1).
NOTE:
The following step can be aided by heating the knife blade. The heat softens the butyl.
3. Carefully cut through the remaining butyl bead between the glass and trim using a sharp knife or putty knife (figure 2).
4. Completely remove the rear quarter glass trim finisher from the glass.
