Replacement
1. Clean off any remaining butyl from the glass surface using a sharp blade and mineral spirits. Wipe the glass with a clean cloth.2. Before fitting the new rear quarter glass trim finisher, place the finisher on the glass and trace the inner edge of the finisher with a grease pencil. The pencil line serves as a guide when applying PU adhesive.
3. Apply Betawipe (yellow top) wipe-on/wipe-off cleaner to the trim finisher bonding area at the perimeter of the glass.
4. Apply Betawipe (green top) glass primer to the trim finisher bonding area at the perimeter of the glass.
5. Apply Betaprime 5402 (red top) to the bonding face of the rear quarter glass trim finisher using a suitable clean cloth. Allow time for the excess primer coating to evaporate.

7. Completely fill the channel in the bottom section of the rear quarter glass trim finisher with additional PU adhesive.
8. Refit rear quarter glass trim finisher to the proper position and secure with tape. The trim should remain taped in place for a minimum of 4 hours until the adhesive has cured.
