Note: The MAF sensor is a combined MAF sensor and IAT sensor.






ALLDATA Editor Note: Code P0101 is a comparision of calculated load (engine speed and throttle position) to actual MAF signal and as such appears on both charts for MAF and TPS.


DTC P0101
Air flow to throttle angle cross check fault Drive cycle B:Signal implausible.

Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
- Obstruction to airflow.
- MAFS fault.
- Throttle fault.

Obstruction to airflow.
- Air intake path obstructed or air cleaner clogged.

Note: Airflow will be normal for a specific engine speed but throttle will be further open than expected.

- Clogged air cleaner element.
- Obstruction in air intake path.

MAFS fault.
- Any MAFS diagnostic flags are set.
- Inaccurate reading from MAFS.

Throttle fault.
- Visual check for damage to throttle linkages.
- Any throttle diagnostic flags are set.
- Inaccurate reading from throttle position sensor.
