Freelander - Inoperative Clock

Some Freelander vehicles have been delivered with the incorrect clock display module installed. The symptoms are:

^ The clock display will have a back-lit green appearance

^ The clock display numbers do not appear

Retailers should ensure correct clock operation during the Customer Delivery Process when setting the local time.

A likely cause of an inoperative clock is that the European specification clock/radio display module has been installed in error at assembly. The European design is easily identified after removal from the dash by the part number (YFB100380) on the label located on the back of the module.

The correct number for NAS applications is YFB000070PMA.
