Torque Wrench Settings
+ New bolts must be fitted
* Correct tightening sequence must be followed
TORQUE WRENCH SETTINGS
Cylinder Head LH
Torque 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
Using an angle torque gauge tighten all bolts in sequence by a further 80° and then a final 80°.
Cylinder Head RH
Torque 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
Using an angle torque gauge tighten all bolts in sequence by a further 80° and then a final 80°.
Main Bearing Cap
Torque 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Then, tighten bolts a further 100°.
Rod Bearing Cap
Torque 5 Nm (3.7 ft. lbs.)
Then tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.) and finally, using and angle gauge, tighten a further 80°.
Crankshaft Pulley
Torque 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.)
Flexplate
Torque 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.)
Oil Pump
Torque 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold RH
Torque 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Exhaust Manifold LH
Torque 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.)
Water Pump
Torque 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
