Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve

Service Repair No - 17.15.39

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the throttle body gasket.
3. Release the purge valve.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.
^ Depress the quick release connector.
^ Remove the bolt.





4. Remove the purge valve.
^ Depress the quick release connector.





Installation
1. Install the purge valve.
^ Tighten the bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
^ Connect the quick release connectors.
^ Connect the electrical connector.

2. Install the throttle body gasket.
3. Connect the battery ground cable.
