Situation:
A revised front door latch interior release cable end clip is now available. The revised cable end clip lessens the risk of repeat repair and will ensure the repair is completed right the first time.

Action:
In the event it becomes necessary to replace a front door latch interior release cable end clip, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below.

REPLACE DOOR LATCH CABLE END

NOTE:
Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows:

GTR Home > NAS > LF - LR2 > Service Information> Model Year > Workshop Manual

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-05, Interior Trim and Ornamentation, and remove the interior front door trim panel.





2. Remove the existing cable end clip. (Figure 1)





3. Install the new cable end clip. (Figure 2)

4. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation and install the interior front door trim panel.
