Suspended Towing
Suspended Towing
Always consult the relevant Owners Manual for specific instructions, however the following provides general guidelines.
All vehicles
Whenever possible, a wheel dolly should be used under all non-suspended wheels. If this is not possible, the non-suspended axle's propeller shaft MUST be removed. Mark both the propeller shaft and flange before removal to ensure proper orientation when refitting.
If the front vehicle wheels are the non-suspended wheels, the steering wheel and/or linkage must be secured in a straight ahead position but the steering lock MUST NOT be used for this purpose.
