Revised Workshop Procedure - Remove / Install Engine and Ancillaries

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

LR3 (LA) 4.4L V8 Only VIN: 5A000360 - Onwards
Model Year: 2005 - Onwards

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

The removal / installation procedure for 4.4L V8 engine and ancillaries has been revised. The removal of the right-hand driveshaft, engine compartment cover and radiator is no longer required as there is adequate clearance between the engine oil pan and driveshaft for the engine to be moved forward before lifting.

Action:

When removing / installing the engine and ancillaries, refer to the revised Repair Procedure as outlined below
