Rear Driveshaft Center Bearing Grease Leak





AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation: A knock noise from underneath the vehicle may be evident. Upon inspection, grease may be found leaking from the O-ring seal on the rear driveshaft center CV joint and the rubber diaphragm may be
split.

Cause: This may be caused by the O-ring not sealing to the CV joint body.
Action: In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to replace the rear driveshaft assembly.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

REPLACE REAR DRIVESHAFT ASSEMBLY

1. Refer to Workshop Manual section 205-01 and replace the rear driveshaft assembly.
