Front Door Panel: Service and Repair



Front Door Trim Panel

Service Repair No - 76.34.01


Removal

1. Remove 4 screws from the front door trim panel.
^ Remove and discard the access cover.







2. NOTE: Make sure the front door trim panel center clip is released.

Release the front door trim panel.
^ Release the 14 clips.







3. CAUTION: Avoid damage to the front door trim panel locking button.

Release the upper edge of the front door trim panel.
^ Release the 7 clips.

4. Release the front door interior handle from the cable.







5. Remove the front door trim panel.
^ Disconnect the 6 electrical connectors.







6. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the speaker.
^ Remove the 3 Torx screws.







7. Remove the 13 clips.
8. Remove the door handle bracket.
^ Remove the clip.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.







9. Remove the stowage compartment.
^ Remove the 2 nuts.
^ Release the 3 clips.







10. Remove the stowage compartment bracket.
^ Remove the 2 Torx screws.







11. Remove the lamp.
^ Release the clip.







12. Remove the window control switch.
^ Remove the 4 Torx screws.







Installation

1. Install the window control switch.
^ Tighten the Torx screws.

2. Install the lamp.
^ Secure the clip.

3. Attach the stowage compartment bracket.
^ Tighten the screws.

4. Install the stowage compartment.
^ Secure the clips.
^ Tighten the nuts to 3 Nm (2 ft. lbs.).

5. Install the door handle bracket.
^ Install the clip.
^ Tighten the nuts to 6 Nm (4 ft. lbs.).

6. Install the clips.
7. Install the speaker
^ Tighten the screws.

8. Attach the front door trim panel.
^ Connect the electrical connectors.

9. Attach the front door interior handle cable.
10. Install the front door trim panel.
^ Secure the clips.
^ Tighten the screws.
^ Install a new access cover.
