Service Repair No - 76.64.15

Removal

Vehicles with roof opening panel

1. Remove the roof opening panel shield.
2. Remove the roof opening panel securing plate.
^ Remove the 15 screws.







All vehicles

3. Make the air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) safe.
4. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
5. Remove the RH rear seat.
6. Remove the LH A-pillar upper trim panel.
7. Release the RH door aperture weatherstrip for access.
8. Release the RH A-pillar upper trim panel screw cover.
^ Remove the screw.

9. Remove the RH A-pillar upper trim panel.
^ Carefully release the 2 clips.







10. Remove the LH B-pillar upper trim panel.
11. Position the RH front seat fully forwards.

12. NOTE:
^ Release the front safety belt lower anchor bolt cover clip upwards and away from the front seat base side trim panel.
^ Raise the seat base for access.

Remove the safety belt lower anchor bolt cover from the RH front seat.
1. Carefully release the clip from behind the RH front seat base side trim panel.
2. Remove the cover.







13. NOTE: Lower the seat base for access.

Release the safety belt lower anchor from the RH front seat.
^ Remove and discard the bolt.







14. NOTE: Right-hand shown, left-hand similar.

Remove the 2 rear bolts from the RH front seat.







15. NOTE: Right-hand shown, left-hand similar.

Remove the 2 front bolts from the RH front seat.
^ Position the RH front seat fully rearwards.







16. Reposition the RH front seat to the central position.
^ Reposition the RH front seat backrest to the fully upright position.
^ Lower the RH front seat head restraint to the fully lowered position.

17. Reposition the RH front seat for access.
^ Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.







18. NOTE: Make sure no damage is caused to the vehicle trim when removing the front seat.

With assistance carefully remove the RH front seat.
^ Fit protection around the door aperture to protect the interior.

19. Release the RH front and rear door aperture weatherstrips.
20. Release the 4 clips from the RH B-pillar lower trim panel.







21. Remove the RH B-pillar trim panel.
^ Release the 4 clips from the RH B-pillar upper trim panel.

22. Remove the LH C-pillar upper trim panel.
23. Release the RH rear door aperture weatherstrip.
24. Release the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.







25. Remove the RH C-pillar lower trim panel.
^ Remove the 2 screws.
^ Release from the clips.







26. Release the RH rear safety belt lower anchor.
^ Remove and discard the bolt.







27. Remove the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.
^ Reposition the RH rear safety belt through the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.

28. Remove the LH rear quarter trim panel.
29. Release the RH rear quarter trim panel.
^ Carefully release the 4 clips.







30. Remove the RH rear quarter trim panel.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.







31. Remove the LH sun visor.
32. Release the RH sun visor from the sun visor clip.
33. Remove the RH sun visor mounting trim panel.
^ Carefully release the RH sun visor mounting trim panel.







34. Remove the RH sun visor.
^ Remove the 3 screws.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.

35. Remove the RH sun visor clip from the headliner.
^ Remove the screw.

36. Remove the overhead console.
37. Remove the center interior lamp.
38. Remove the 4 grab handles.
^ Release the grab handle screw covers.
^ Remove the screws.
^ Remove the grab handle mounting plates.







39. Remove the 2 cargo net hangers.
^ Reposition the cargo net hanger covers.
^ Remove the screws.







40. Remove the 4 door aperture weatherstrips.

Vehicles with roof opening panel

41. Remove the 2 screws from the headliner.

All vehicles

42. NOTE: The 4 screws are located behind the center overhead console.

Remove the 4 screws from the headliner.

43. Carefully release the 3 clips from the rear of the headliner.







44. NOTE: Remove the headlining from the rear of the vehicle.

With assistance, carefully remove the headliner.

Installation

All vehicles

1. With assistance, install the headliner.
2. Secure the 3 clips to the rear of the headliner.

3. NOTE: The 4 screws are located behind the center overhead console.

Install the 4 screws to the headliner.

Vehicles with roof opening panel

4. Install the 2 screws to the headliner.

All vehicles

5. Install the 4 door aperture weatherstrips to the headliner.
6. Install the 2 cargo net hangers.
^ Install the screws.
^ Reposition the cargo net hanger covers.

7. Install the 4 grab handles.
^ Install the grab handle mounting plates.
^ Install the screws.
^ Secure the grab handle screw covers.

8. Install the center interior lamp.
9. Install the overhead console.
10. Install the RH sun visor clip to the headliner.
^ Install the screw.

11. Install the RH sun visor.
^ Connect the electrical connector.
^ Install the 3 screws.

12. Install the RH sun visor mounting trim panel.
^ Secure the RH sun visor mounting trim panel.

13. Secure the RH sun visor to the RH sun visor clip.
14. Install the LH sun visor.
15. Install the RH rear quarter trim panel.
^ Connect the electrical connector.

16. Secure the RH rear quarter trim panel.
^ Secure the 4 clips.

17. Install the LH rear quarter trim panel.
18. Install the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.
^ Reposition the RH rear safety belt through the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.

19. Secure the RH rear safety belt lower anchor.
^ Install the new bolt and tighten to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).

20. Install the RH C-pillar lower trim panel.
^ Install the 2 screws.
^ Secure the clips.

21. Secure the RH C-pillar upper trim panel.
22. Secure the RH rear door aperture weatherstrip.
23. Install the LH C-pillar upper trim panel.
24. Install the RH B-pillar trim panel.
^ Secure the 4 clips to the RH B-pillar upper trim panel.

25. Secure the 4 clips to the RH B-pillar lower trim panel.
26. Secure the RH front and rear door aperture weatherstrips.

27. NOTE: Make sure no damage is caused to the vehicle trim when installing the front seat.

With assistance carefully install the RH front seat.
^ Remove the protection from around the door aperture.

28. CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness is installed to its original position.

Reposition the RH front seat for access.
^ Connect the 4 electrical connectors.

29. NOTE:
^ Make sure the 3 seat rail covers are fitted to their original positions.
^ The inner front seat rail does not have a seat rail cover.

Install the 2 front bolts to the RH front seat.
^ Align the RH front seat locating pegs.
^ Position the RH front seat fully rearwards.
^ Tighten the RH front seat front bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

30. NOTE:
^ Make sure the 3 seat rail covers are fitted to their original positions.
^ The inner front seat rail does not have a seat rail cover.

Install the 2 rear bolts to the RH front seat.
^ Position the RH front seat fully forwards.
^ Tighten the RH front seat rear bolts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

31. Attach the safety belt lower anchor to the RH front seat.
^ Install a new bolt and tighten to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

32. Install the safety belt lower anchor bolt cover.
33. Reposition the RH front seat to the original position.
34. Install the LH B-pillar upper trim panel.
35. Install the RH A-pillar upper trim panel.
^ Secure the 2 clips.

36. Secure the RH A-pillar upper trim panel screw cover.
^ Install the screw.

37. Secure the RH door aperture weatherstrip.
38. Install the LH A-pillar upper trim panel.
39. Install the RH rear seat.
40. Connect the battery ground cable.

Vehicles with roof opening panel

41. Install the roof opening panel securing plate.
^ Install the 15 screws.

42. Install the roof opening panel shield.
