Hydraulic Timing Chain Tensioner RH

Removal
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications Service and Repair
2 Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.0L Service and Repair

CAUTION: Before the disconnection or removal of any components, ensure the area around joint faces and connections are clean. Plug any open connections to prevent contamination.
Remove the RH hydraulic timing chain tensioner.

Installation
1 Install the RH hydraulic timing chain tensioner.
- Clean the component mating faces.
- Tighten the tensioner to 45 Nm (33 lb.ft).
2 Install the engine cover. For additional information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.0L Service and Repair
3 Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications Service and Repair
