Liftgate Latch

Removal
1 Remove the tailgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Tailgate Trim Panel
2 Remove the tailgate water shedder.




3 Release the liftgate latch.
- Remove the 3 Torx screws.




4 Remove the liftgate latch.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the liftgate latch to actuator cable.

Installation
1 Install the liftgate latch.
- Attach the liftgate latch to actuator cable.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Tighten the Torx screws to 10 Nm (7 lb.ft).
2 Install the tailgate water shedder.
3 Install the tailgate trim panel. For additional information, refer to Tailgate Trim Panel Tailgate Trim Panel
4 Adjust the liftgate striker. For additional information, refer to Liftgate Striker Adjustment Liftgate Striker Adjustment
