CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

The rear brake calipers are of two different designs: cast iron or aluminum. The brake pads are also of two different designs and specific to each caliper design; therefore, it is imperative that during the normal service life of the vehicle the correct brake pads are fitted to the caliper.

Action:

In the event of the need to replace rear brake pads, it is necessary to confirm the caliper design (cast iron or aluminum) to ensure the correct pads are fitted.
