'HSE' Tailgate Badge Not Installed

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:
LR4 (LA) HSE models only VIN: AA513326 - AA518891 (see list of VINs not affected)
Model Year: 2010

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:

On HSE models only, the 'HSE' tailgate badge may have not been installed during manufacturing.

Action:

In the event of a missing HSE tailgate badge, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to install a new badge.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

INSTALL HSE BADGE

1. Ensure vehicle is at room temperature.

2. Clean the lower-right corner of the upper tailgate.

3. Remove new badge backing.





4. Beginning at the bottom of the 'E' of the badge, locate the new badge as indicated. (Figure 1).

5. Roll the new badge into place with a roller.

6. Remove top carrier from the badge.
