Brake Disc
This is a "Trustmark Authoring Standards (TAS) Repair Procedure"
- TAS style procedures can be identified by steps that have no accompanying step text and the magenta color of the electrical connectors and fasteners such as nuts, bolts, clamps or clips.
- TAS removal and installation procedures use a sequence of color illustrations to indicate the order to be followed when removing/disassembling or installing/assembling a component.
- Many of the TAS procedures will have the installation information within the removal steps.
- The TAS color illustrations use a variety of symbols to indicate important details of the procedures. It is important to understand these symbols in order to properly used the TAS procedures.

Removal
WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.
1 Raise and support the vehicle.
2 Remove the front wheel.

CAUTION: Make sure that no load is placed on the brake hose.
3 Release the brake caliper and tie aside.
4 Remove the brake disc.
Installation
1 Make sure the brake disc and hub mating surfaces are clean.
2 Install the brake disc and tighten the Torx screw.
Torque to: 35 Nm
WARNING: Do not use compressed air to clean brake components. Dust from friction materials can be harmful if inhaled.
3 Clean the brake caliper housing and anchor plate using brake cleaning fluid.
CAUTION: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and is correctly located.
4 Install the brake caliper and tighten the new bolts.
Torque to: 200 Nm
5 Install the front wheel.

6 Depress the brake pedal several times, check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top-up with brake fluid if necessary.
