REPAIR PROCEDURE

SYNCHRONIZE ROOF OPENING PANEL MOTOR

NOTE:
The battery voltage must be between 11-14 volts; if not, connect the Land Rover-approved Vehicle Power Supply.

NOTE:
The vehicle needs to be inside the workshop for a minimum of 1 hour. The temperature must be between 40-85°F (5-30°C).

1. Switch the ignition ON.

NOTE:
Do not release the roof opening panel switch during the synchronization process.

2. Press and hold the front leading edge of the roof opening panel switch.

^ If the roof opening panel does not move after 60 seconds, connect the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) and read and clear the DTC fault codes.

NOTE:
A time delay can occur during the different movements.

NOTE:
Cycle time will depend on the glass panel position.

^ The synchronization process will start.

a. The roof opening panel will close.

b. The roof opening panel will move to the tilt position.

c. The roof opening panel will move to the full open position and then to the full closed position.

3. Release the roof opening panel switch only after the roof opening panel is fully closed.

^ The roof opening panel will now operate correctly.

4. Switch the ignition "OFF".

5. If necessary, disconnect the IDS and the vehicle power supply.
