Air Suspension Compressor and Relay Replacement





AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The air suspension relay must be replaced when performing any air suspension compressor repair or replacement. This is due to the possibility of damage to the relay contacts.

Action:
In the event of an air suspension system compressor requires replacement, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to replace the compressor and relay.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

REPLACE AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM COMPRESSOR

1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 204-00: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension > Removal and Installation > Air Suspension Compressor, and replace the air suspension compressor.

REPLACE AIR SUSPENSION RELAY - LR3, LR4, RANGE ROVER SPORT ONLY

1. Access the engine compartment fuse box.





2. Replace the air suspension relay. (Figure 1)

REPLACE AIR SUSPENSION RELAY - RANGE ROVER ONLY

1. Access the fuse box in the right-hand side of the luggage compartment.





2. Replace the air suspension relay. (Figure 2)
