Rear Door: Adjustments

1. ADJUST DOOR IN FORWARD/REARWARD AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS
a. Remove the front door scuff plate.
b. Remove the rear door scuff plate.
c. Remove the front door opening trim.
d. Remove the rear door opening trim.
e. Remove the center pillar lower garnish.




f. Loosen the body side hinge nuts to adjust.

Torque: 26 N.m (265 kg.cm, 19 ft.lb)

g. Install the removed parts.




2. ADJUST DOOR IN LEFT/RIGHT AND VERTICAL DIRECTIONS
Loosen the door side hinge bolts to adjust.

Torque: 26 N.m (265 kg.cm, 19 ft.lb)




3. ADJUST DOOR LOCK STRIKER
a. Check that the door fit and door lock linkages are adjusted correctly.
b. Loosen the striker mounting screws to adjust.

Torque: 11 N.m (115 kg.cm, 8 ft.lb)

c. Using a plastic hammer, tap the door lock striker to adjust it.
