Seats: Description and Operation
1. MANUAL SLIDE OPERATION (DRIVER'S SEAT)When the slide SW is pressed to the front side, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 15. This activates the power seat ECU and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 4 to power seat motor (Driver's seat slide control) TERMINAL 2 to TERMINAL 1 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 3 to GROUND and the seat slides forward while the slide SW is kept pressed.
When the slide SW is pressed to the rear side, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 16 and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 3 to power seat motor (Driver's seat slide control) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 2 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 4 to GROUND and the seat slides backward while the slide SW is kept pressed.
At this time, the power seat position sensor (Driver's seat slide control) constantly detects the position of the seat and inputs a signal to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 14.
2. MANUAL RECLINING CONTROL (DRIVER'S SEAT)
When the reclining SW is pressed to the front side,a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 21. This activates the power seat ECU and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 2 to power seat motor (Driver's seat reclining control) TERMINAL 2 to TERMINAL 1 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 1 to GROUND and the seat back reclines forward while the reclining SW is kept pressed.
When the reclining SW is pressed to the rear side,a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 22 and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 1 to power seat motor (Driver's seat reclining control) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 2 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 2 to GROUND and the seat back reclines backward while the reclining SW is kept pressed.
At this time, the power seat position sensor (Driver's seat reclining control) constantly detects the position of the seat back and inputs a signal to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 5.
3. MANUAL FRONT VERTICAL CONTROL (DRIVER'S SEAT)
When the front side of the front vertical SW is pulled up, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 19. This activates the power seat ECU and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 10 to power seat motor (Driver's seat front vertical control) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 2 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 9 to GROUND and the front side of the seat cushion moves up while the front vertical SW is kept pressed.
When the power seat front vertical SW is pressed down, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 7 and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 9 to power seat motor (Driver's seat front vertical control) TERMINAL 2 to TERMINAL 1 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 10 to GROUND and the front side of the seat cushion moves down while the front vertical SW is kept pressed.
At this time, the power seat position sensor (Driver's seat front vertical control) constantly detects the position of the seat cushion (front side) and inputs a signal to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 3.
4. MANUAL REAR VERTICAL OPERATION (DRIVER'S SEAT)
When the rear side of the rear vertical SW is pulled up, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 17. This activates the power seat ECU and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 6 to power seat motor (Driver's seat rear vertical control) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 2 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 5 to GROUND and the all seat moves up while the rear vertical SW is kept pressed.
When the rear vertical SW is pressed down, a signal is input to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 18 and the current flows from power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 5 to power seat motor (Driver's seat rear vertical control) TERMINAL 2 to TERMINAL 1 to power seat ECU TERMINAL (B) 5 to GROUND and the all seat moves down while the rear vertical SW is kept pressed.
At this time, the power seat position sensor (Driver's seat rear vertical control) constantly detects the position of the all seat and inputs a signal to the power seat ECU TERMINAL (A) 4.
5. MANUAL LUMBAR SUPPORT OPERATION (DRIVER'S SEAT)
When the lumbar support control SW (Driver's seat) is pressed to the front side, the current from the POWER fuse flows to the lumbar Support control SW (Driver's seat) TERMINAL 4 to TERMINAL 1 to power seat motor (Driver's seat lumbar support control) TERMINAL 2 to TERMINAL 1 to lumbar support control SW (Driver's seat) TERMINAL to TERMINAL 3 to GROUND and the lumbar support moves forward.
When the lumbar support control SW (Driver's seat) is pressed to the rear side, the current from the POWER fuse flows to the lumbar support control SW (Driver's seat) TERMINAL 4 to TERMINAL 2 to power seat motor (Driver's seat lumbar support control) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 2 to lumbar support control SW (Driver's seat) TERMINAL 1 to TERMINAL 3 to GROUND and the lumbar support moves backward.
6. DRIVING POSITION MEMORY FUNCTION (DRIVER'S SEAT)
The seat motor rotation amount (How much the seat has been moved) is detected by the position sensor and is input into the power seat ECU. The driving position memory SW allows recording and recalling the seat position memory. The recording and recalling is controlled through the communication control among the instrument ECU, tilt and telescopic ECU, remote control mirror ECU etc.
