Introduction
Some 1998 - 2000 MY LX 470 customers may have experienced a condition where the CD changer will not play, accept, or eject a CD. To remedy this situation for 1998 through 2000 MY LX 470 vehicles, changes to the radio head unit have been made to improve CD changer operation.

Applicable Vehicles

^ 1998 - 2000 MY LX 470 vehicles. Both standard Fujitsu-Ten and optional Nakamichi audio systems are affected.

Repair Procedure

For all LX 470 radios (Fujitsu-Ten and Nakamichi) which require replacement, order a Procedure replacement radio from Fujitsu-Ten through the exchange program by calling 1-800-237-5413.

NOTE:
Radios with the Nakamichi label on the faceplate must also be ordered through Fujitsu-Ten.





Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty *:
This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
