INTRODUCTION

To improve customer satisfaction by reducing interior squeaks and rattles, the following repair procedures have been developed.

REQUIRED TOOLS & MATERIALS





WARRANTY INFORMATION

Perform the repairs listed as necessary to address specific customer concerns over interior squeaks and rattles.

APPLICABLE WARRANTY *:

This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's complaint.

REPAIR PROCEDURE





Front Fender Attaching Clip Rubbing Noise





To reduce noise caused by rubbing between the Front Fender Attaching Clip and "A" Pillar, apply lubricant to the clip as shown in the illustration.

Door Trim Board Rubbing Noise





To reduce rubbing noise between the Door Trim Board and the Door Inner Panel, attach pieces of felt (W: 5 mm, T: 0.5 mm) from the Interior Noise Kit (P/N 08231-00801) to the Door Trim Board edges as shown in the illustration.
