DTC 22 - VGRS Actuator Malfunction

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detecting Condition:

VGRS ECU drives the actuator based on the steering angle sensor signal and vehicle speed signal. VGRS ECU detects current flowing into the actuator, or a malfunction inside ECU, it turns on the warning light and record the DTC at the same time, and then stops controlling.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT: For the inspection of actuator open circuit or ECU inside malfunction, ECU inside malfunction cannot be checked. Therefore, check the actuator first and if it is normal, judge the problem is in ECU.
