SRS Warning Light Check

SRS WARNING LIGHT CHECK




a. Turn the ignition switch to ON, and check that the SRS warning light comes on.
b. Check that the SRS warning light goes out after approx. 6 seconds.

HINT:
- While the ignition switch is ON, the SRS warning light comes on or blinks if the airbag sensor assembly detects malfunctions.
- A short in the SRS warning light circuit is possible if the light sometimes blinks even after 6 seconds.
- A malfunction in a combination meter assembly is possible if the light comes on even if the ignition switch is OFF.
- Proceed to "SRS warning light circuit malfunction".
