Headlamp: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT

1. REMOVE LOWER GRILLE




a. Remove the 7 screws.
b. Disconnect the 6 claws and remove the lower grille.

2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER
3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT




a. Disconnect the connecters.
b. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts.
c. Pull out the headlight forward, then disconnect the bracket of body side.

4. INSTALL HEADLIGHT




a. If the shown part of the headlight is damaged, the headlight can be reinstalled to the body by installing a retainer to it.







1. After cutting off the damaged part (shaded part in the illustration) of the headlight housing, properly form it using a sandpaper, etc.
2. Install retainers (supply parts) to the boss of the headlight with screws.

b. Install the headlight.
1. Install the headlight with the bolt and 2 nuts.
2. Connect the connectors.

6. INSTALL LOWER GRILLE
