Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working.
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF LH PLATE
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY WITH SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
b. Remove the bolt and distance control ECU assembly with skid control buzzer assembly.
6. REMOVE SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
a. Disengage the clamp and remove the skid control buzzer assembly from the distance control ECU assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
a. Engage the clamp to install the skid control buzzer assembly.
2. INSTALL DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY WITH SKID CONTROL BUZZER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the distance control ECU assembly with skid control buzzer assembly with the bolt.
NOTE: Do not install the distance control ECU assembly if it has been damaged or impacted in any way.
b. Connect the 2 connectors.
3. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF LH PLATE
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTE: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
