Front Speed Sensor

REMOVAL

HINT: Replacement of RH side is same as that of LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL




2. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH

a. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.




b. Using a hexagon wrench (5 mm), remove the bolt and front speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

NOTE:
- Do not stick and foreign matter on the sensor tip.
- Do not let the foreign matter into the sensor installation hole.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH

a. Using a hexagon wrench (5 mm), install the front speed sensor with the bolt to the steering knuckle.

Torque: 8.3 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 73 in.lbf)

NOTE: Make sure the sensor tip is clean.




b. Connect the speed sensor connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

Torque: 112 N.m (1,142 kgf.cm, 83 ft.lbf)

3. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
