DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the television display assembly to the multi-display.
This circuit is for a navigation system that has a radio receiver with a built-in CD changer.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the multi-display connector M3 and television display assembly connector R14.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY (OUTPUT SIGNAL)
(a) Reconnect the television display assembly connector R14.
(b) Measure the waveform according to the table below.
OK:
HINT: The waveform pattern may differ from that shown in the illustration below due to differences in oscilloscope setting. A normal television display assembly operating condition can be determined if any waveform is output.
(c) Reference: Oscilloscope waveform
(1) Terminal: VV+ - Body ground
Setting: 200 mV/DIV., 10 micro s/DIV.
Condition: DVD display is ON.
NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
