POWER STEERING: POWER STEERING ECU:

REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE INVERTER BRACKET NO.5






(a) Remove the bolt and inverter bracket No.5.
4. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove bolt and ground cable terminal from power steering ECU assembly.






(b) Release the locks of the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors and disconnect the connectors.






(c) Separate 2 wire harness clamps from the power steering ECU assembly.






(d) Remove 2 bolts and the power steering ECU assembly.
