Removal

BRAKE CONTROL: REAR SPEED SENSOR (for 4WD):

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHER STRIP
2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER Removal

5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
6. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR






(a) Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the wire harness.

(b) Pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.
NOTE: Do not pull the sensor wire.





(c) Remove the 2 bolts that hold the sensor harness from the body and the shock absorber bracket.






(d) Remove the bolt and the rear speed sensor.
- Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.
- Clean the installation hole and surface for the speed sensor every time the speed sensor is removed.
