B2060 - ABS Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the vehicle stability control system is detected. This circuit consists of the skid control ECU and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the skid control ECU using the CAN communication.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection How to Proceed With Troubleshooting.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
CAN communication system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Check DTCs for the vehicle stability control system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
Vehicle stability control system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Vehicle Stability Control System
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Codes.
(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(c) Drive the vehicle.
(d) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B2060 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
