C1A0A - Front Radar Sensor Region Code Mismatch

DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU uses the millimeter wave radar sensor to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle.

Based on this information, the driving support ECU sends pre-collision control operation signals.

When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU. Also, when the driving support ECU is replaced with a new one, it receives country specification information from the main body ECU. When country specification information in the sensor, ECU and/or main body ECU do not match, DTC C1A0A is output.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed Adjustments.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

2. REPLACE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

(a) Replace the millimeter wave radar sensor Removal.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

(a) Adjust the millimeter wave radar sensor Adjustments.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.

(b) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC C1A0A is not output.
