2GR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.

2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and 2 exhaust pipe dampers.





4. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.





(b) Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 4 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

5. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.





(b) Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Remove the gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

6. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.





(b) Remove the 2 gaskets from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the No. 2 oxygen sensor connector (for Bank 2 Sensor 2).





(b) Loosen the bolt (A).





(c) Remove the 2 bolts (B), 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe assembly.

(d) Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

9. REMOVE NO. 2 OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) Removal
