LIGHTING (EXT): AFS ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AFS ECU

(a) Engage the guide.





(b) Install the AFS ECU with the nut.

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. CHECK VEHICLE HEIGHT (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
If the height control sensor link is removed, check the vehicle height.

(a) Change the height control switch from the "NORM" position to the "HIGH" position and back to the "NORM" position.

(b) Measure the vehicle height Front Wheel Alignment.

5. ADJUST VEHICLE HEIGHT (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
If the height control sensor has been replaced, be sure to adjust the vehicle height.

(a) Adjust the vehicle height Suspension Control System.

6. REGISTER VEHICLE INFORMATION

8. PREPARE VEHICLE FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT Adjustments

9. PREPARE FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a headlight aim test machine) Adjustments

10. PREPARE FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a screen) Adjustments

11. INSPECT HEADLIGHT AIMING Adjustments

12. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING Adjustments
