LIGHTING (EXT): LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E).





(b) Check that the license plate light comes on.

OK:

The light comes on.

(c) If the result is not as specified, replace the license plate light assembly LH.

2. INSPECT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 (B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E).





(b) Check that the license plate light comes on.

OK:

The light comes on.
