Interior Lighting System





LIGHTING (INT): LIGHTING SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)





(a) Disconnect the 2D, 2F, 2K and F14 instrument panel junction block assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the 2D, 2F, 2K and F14 instrument panel junction block assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

(e) Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.









(e) If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY (POWER BACK DOOR ECU)





(a) Disconnect the P33 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the P33 ECU connector.

(e) Initialize the power back door system Initialization.

(f) Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(f) If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





(b) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





(c) If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

(d) Reconnect the F58 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

(e) Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.





(e) If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
