2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Air Suspension)

NOTICE:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.

2. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH Removal

3. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

(a) Disconnect the 3 clamps and oxygen sensor connector (for Bank 1 Sensor 2).





(b) Remove the wire harness clamp bracket.





(c) Using SST, remove the oxygen sensor from the No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE NO. 3 FRONT EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 compression springs and No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.





(b) Remove the 3 gaskets from the No. 3 front exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

5. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 2 OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)

(a) Using SST, remove the No. 2 oxygen sensor from the front exhaust pipe assembly.
