Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ACCELERATOR PEDAL: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

(e) Read the values displayed on the Techstream.

(f) If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal assembly, wire harness or ECM.
