SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: SEAT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

CAUTION:
Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing Service Precautions.

NOTICE:

w/ Navigation System for HDD:

After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

5. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

6. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

8. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

(c) Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.
