SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the 3 bushings to the height control compressor assembly.

(b) Install the bracket to the height control compressor assembly with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 5.9 Nm (60 kgf-cm, 52 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL VALVE HARNESS ASSEMBLY

(a) Push the connector into the housing until a clicking sound is heard.

(b) Engage the 3 clamps.

(c) Connect the height control valve harness assembly.





3. INSTALL NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

(a) Coat a new O-ring with MP grease No. 2.

(b) Install the new O-ring to the No. 2 height control tube.

(c) Connect the No. 2 height control tube to the height control compressor assembly with the holder.





HINT
For the connecting procedure of the tube (type 3), refer to Precaution of Suspension Control System Suspension Control System.

(d) Install the 3 clamps to the No. 2 height control tube.

4. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL HOSE

(a) Install the No. 1 height control hose to the height control compressor assembly with the clip.





5. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER

(a) Install the height control filter to the bracket with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 6.4 Nm (65 kgf-cm, 57 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 height control hoses to the height control filter with the 2 clips.

6. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BRACKET

(a) Install the height control compressor bracket to the body with the 2 bolts and nut.





Torque : 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the wire harness clamp to the bracket.

7. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR WITH BRACKET

(a) Install the height control compressor with bracket with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

(b) Engage the wire harness clamp to the bracket.





(c) Connect the 2 connectors.





(d) Coat a new O-ring with MP grease No. 2.

(e) Install the O-ring to the No. 2 height control tube.

(f) Connect the No. 2 height control tube to the height control way with the holder.





HINT
For the connecting procedure of the tube (type 3), refer to Precaution of Suspension Control System Suspension Control System.

8. INSTALL CAP GROMMET

(a) Install a new cap grommet to the No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.





(b) Install the No. 2 height control hose to the cap grommet with the clamp.

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Some systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

11. INSPECT FOR AIR LEAK

(a) Inspect for air leaks Suspension Control System.

12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR

(a) Install the No. 1 luggage compartment side cover protector with the 2 clips.





(b) Install the 2 bolts and 2 screws.
